Michael Jackson's Daughter Paris 'Confused' By Wearing Masks

Michael Jackson's daughter Paris has spoken for the first time on her childhood with the King of Pop and says that she was "confused" as to why she was made to wear a mask.
The 14-year-old, along with her older brother Prince Michael and Prince Michael II aka Blanket, were never allowed out in public unless they were wearing masks throughout their childhood when their legendary father was alive.
"I was really confused," Paris told Oprah Winfrey in an upcoming episode of Oprah's Next Chapter.
"I didn't get why I was wearing a mask. But I understand it now – why my dad would want our faces to be covered. When we went out without him we wouldn't be recognised."
Despite the strangeness of shielding their faces in public, Paris says she and her siblings had a regular childhood.
"We had a normal childhood – including trips to the children's arcade and restaurant Chuck E. Cheese's," she said.
"He told us that when he was younger he didn't really have a childhood. He would always be stuck in the studio singing while the kids were out playing. He wanted us to have that."
In the same interview,Paris speaks about the death of Micheal for the first time, saying "it never gets easier".
Michael died in 2009 after overdosing on powerful anaesthetic Propofol.
Paris' interview airs on Sunday in the US, when 50 Cent also sits down with the talk show queen.
